The State of Queensland through the Director General, Department of Housing and Public Works (Client) is seeking to establish a Preferred Supplier Panel (PSP) with qualified building contractors to support the delivery of the ongoing social housing program.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Details
The Supplier must;

• hold an active Australian Business Number (ABN).

• be registered as a QBuild Registered Contractor,

• be registered with Queensland Government Prequalification (PQC) System,

• hold a current and valid QBCC Builder’s Licence specific to the dwelling size/s,

• hold Public Liability – Minimum $20 Million;

• have Workers Compensation as required by the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003, and

• hold Professional Indemnity – Minimum $1 Million (for Design and Construct delivery type only).

Hello,

We have completed this process previously and pre-qualified under PQC.

Given that we have the PQC pre-qualification, is it necessary to complete this again?

Yes, it is necessary if you wish to be considered for undertaking social housing residential building projects.

This panel is specific to the social housing program and is intended to be used to simplify the tendering processes for projects under the program. The information and responses required are targeted to understand the experience and capability of suppliers in relation to social housing or similar.

Suppliers are required to be PQC registered to be considered for this panel, as a whole-of-government requirement.

You are still eligible to provide a PSP Submission, as long as you view the recorded session. How to access the recorded session has been included in ADDENDUM NO 2 - IB recording & RFIs.
