DPI will provide air compressor for all pneumatic equipment commissioning and training.

Question:
Apart for the aerial views of the site options, has there been any detailed surveys of these areas undertaken to determine the existing slopes of the land?

No detailed survey exists. The site is relatively flat with a gentle slope to the east away from the road.

Question:
The tender is silent on site preparation and earthworks. Is site clearing, provision and consolidation of base materials and finishing to required levels to be considered as part of the tender submission?

The site will be handed over to the Supplier as an area slashed to the height of 50mm-75mm. The site is an area previously used for horticulture crops and is free of vegetation. No earthworks are envisaged prior to construction except for levelling of concrete areas if the Supplier deems this is necessary as part of their quotation.

Question:
1. Will the supplier need to provide amenities for the installation timeframe, or is there amenities available for use?

2. Are there adequate lifting implements on site to unload freight? (at least 3T capacity) Or does this need to be allowed for in the submission?

1. Amenities (portaloo and rainwater tanks) are located approx. 150 metres from the yard site.

2. Yes, lifting equipment to 3 tonne capacity will be available for unloading only. Use of the equipment will require prior scheduling with the Facility Manager to ensure availability of machine and DPI personnel to operate. Machinery will not be available for general day-to-day use and only DPI personnel will operate DPI machinery.
