Located in the heart of Central Queensland, the Rockhampton Region is situated 570 km north of Brisbane and approximately 300 km south of Mackay. The Region spans an area that’s covers the communities of Mount Morgan and Gracemere and boasts the City of Rockhampton as the main service centre for the wider Central Queensland Region. Rockhampton Regional Council provides a range of local government infrastructure and services, including: water and wastewater services; waste collection and disposal; construction and maintenance of roads, parks, reserves, sports and community facilities; and a wide variety of community services. Council also owns and operates the Rockhampton Airport and Fitzroy River Water.

The proposed Rahima Court Sewage Pump Station (SPS) upgrade aims to increase pumping capacity at Rahima Court SPS to support future residential development within the catchment and to enhance emergency storage capacity. Rockhampton Regional Council is inviting tenders for the upgrade construction and other components of works covered within the Scope of Works.

Both Rahima Court SPS and the Rahima Sewer Rising Main must remain fully operational throughout the construction period to meet demand and all legislative obligations of the Rockhampton Regional Council.

A tender level construction plan is required to be submitted as part of this tender outlining the proposed methodology for construction, which may include a Pre-Cast or Cast Insitu construction methodology.

A single joint site inspection will be held 9.00am, 28 October 2026.
