Invitation to Offer (ITO). The formal ITO will be released as a separate VendorPanel publication at a later date. It will include all requirements relating to supplier submissions, evaluation criteria, product sample requirements (if applicable), submission instructions and procurement timeframes. In the meantime, suppliers are encouraged to review the announcement and indicative volumes to prepare for the ITO.


Original Announcement:

Queensland Health is developing a competitive Invitation to Offer to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for wound care consumables, consolidating two legacy arrangements (SOA274 and SOA286) across Queensland's 16 Hospital and Health Services.

This is an industry announcement only, not an Invitation to Offer, and no response is sought at this stage. The attached announcement and indicative volumes outline the scope, procurement objectives, indicative timing, and how suppliers can prepare ahead of the formal ITO.

This procurement will establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for wound care consumables across Queensland Health, which comprises 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) delivering care across the state.

The SOA will consolidate two legacy arrangements, SOA274 (Wound Care Products) and SOA286 (Bandages, Surgical Sponges, Tapes, Surgical Pens, Scalpel Blades & Stitch Cutters), into a single statewide arrangement. Once established, it will be the required route for Hospital and Health Services to purchase in scope products under the Queensland Procurement Policy.
