Details
The Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) have recently completed a program of work as a part of an organisational strategy to improve the OIR service delivery. Subsequently, a case management solution for the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Compliance and Field Services and Statewide Investigations, and an Electrical License management solution for the Electrical Safety Office (ESO).

The platform that these applications are built and run on is an Appian platform, which is branded internally by OIR as ‘RAPID’.

OIR are looking to procure of Appian Cloud Hosted environments, Appian Licensing and Appian Support.

OIR currently have five (5) Appian environments, which are being utilised for their intended purposes and operating safely under the limits of their allocated resources (CPU, memory, disk space). It is anticipated that additional storage in two (2) of the environments to test software defect fixes and features will be required.

Hi there,

In order for us to quote for the requirements can you please clarify the below -

1. The contract start date is 25th of August?

2. The two test environments only need disk space similar to production system - 1.3 TB, no uplift in compute needed at this point?

3. The three environments listed in the requirements (rapid, rapid-2 and rapid-3) would indicate it's a HA setup. The three nodes would share 256 GB RAM, 32 CPUs and 1.3 TB disk space. As such please confirm this is one prod instance in HA setup with the compute and disk shared and not 3 different instances.

Following receipt of the below questions, OIR would like to provide the following responses:
