Supply of appropriate drill rig (tracked, sonic or other viable method such as triple tube DD) and qualified operators at the Thalanga abandoned mine approximately 65km WSW of Charters Towers. with a proposed commencement date, ideally in April or May 2026

Completion of 23 vertical drillholes into cells 7 and 9 as per plan in Figure 3

Provision of geotechnical field testing, sample collection and logging of the recovered tailings by an engineer or geologist via internal or sub-contracted third party.

Thalanga is a copper-lead-zinc open cut and underground mine located approximately 65km WSW of Charters Towers. The site contains open-cut pits, underground workings and portals, processing plant, exploration core shed, tailings storage facility (TSF), various waste rock dumps (WRD), several evaporation and process water dams, administrative buildings and a wetland area. The deposit was originally discovered in 1975, and production commenced in 1989, with continuous production from the mine itself and surrounding satellite deposits until 2022. The mine was disclaimed in December 2022 and has since been managed as part of the Abandoned Mined Land Program by Technical Services, a division of the Department of Natural Resources, Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development.
