Details
UniSC has a number of targets in terms of its sustainability and efficiency. Part of the university’s strategic planning is to utilise solar installations to reduce CO2 emissions and reduce the operating costs of electrical energy in its campus’.

The A1 “Foundation Building” at the Moreton Bay campus has been selected for a solar installation at this time. The building appears to have capacity for around 710kW of solar panels with the ability to connect to the two MSBs in the ground floor of the building. Provision to connect a future Battery Energy Storage System BESS will also be provided as part of the works.

Thank you for your message.

As outlined in the tender documentation, the site inspection held today was mandatory and provided all attendees with the opportunity to assess the site conditions and ask relevant questions. This forms part of the requirements to be a conforming offer.

Please provide the load data / calculations for the facility

Please provide the PPA terms and conditions so we can ascertain the impact a new solar installation will have on USC's current PPA agreement

Please clarify if any existing amenities (offices, toilets, lunch rooms) can be utilised or if we must provide our own

Please clarify the objective and scope of the fire alarm integration

Please confirm if the correct Wind Region the racking system should be designed for is Wind Region B1 (as per AS 1170.2:2021) and not Wind Region C as mentioned in the tender documentation.
