Tamworth Regional Council is a local government area in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. The area under administration is located adjacent to the New England Highway and the Main North railway line. It was established in March 2004 through the amalgamation of the former City of Tamworth with surrounding shires of Barraba, Manilla, Nundle and Parry.

Park Seating and Table Settings

Supply and Delivery of Park Furniture

Council seeks quotations for the supply and delivery of:

• 8 × park bench seats

• 3 × park table settings

The furniture is to be suitable for installation in public open space environments and designed to provide a contemporary, durable and low-maintenance solution.

Bench Seats (8 Units)

The bench seats shall:

• Feature a contemporary urban design with clean lines and robust construction.

• Be approximately 1800 mm long.

• Incorporate seating surfaces constructed from aluminium slats, or equivalent low-maintenance material.

• Be suitable for installation on concrete pads or similar hardstand surfaces.

• Require minimal ongoing maintenance.

• Be designed to withstand high public-use environments and vandal resistance considerations.

• Comply with relevant Australian Standards where applicable.

Table Settings (3 Units)

The table settings shall:

• Include a table and integrated seating arrangement.

• Accommodate a minimum of 6 persons.

• Incorporate aluminium slats, or equivalent low-maintenance materials for table and seating surfaces.

• Be suitable for installation in public parks and recreation areas.

• Be capable of installation on concrete pads or similar hardstand surfaces.

• Require minimal maintenance and be suitable for coastal or inland NSW environmental conditions.

• Comply with relevant Australian Standards where applicable.

General Requirements

Suppliers shall provide:

• Product brochures and technical specifications.

• Material details and finish options.

• Warranty information.

• Lead times for manufacture and delivery.

• Installation requirements and fixing details.

• Pricing inclusive of delivery to Tamworth Regional Council.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions may be assessed on:

• Compliance with specification.

• Durability and expected service life.
