The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Tuckshop Refurbishment at North Rockhampton State High School, located at 302 Berserker Street, Frenchville QLD 4701, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.
The works include the extension of the existing tuckshop and a complete refurbishment of the existing facilities including new fixtures, fittings and finishes as well as new services, cold rooms and equipment. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
