Hi, we would like to understand a bit more about the optional tasks. In particular i wonder if you consider the role for task B, but also already input for task A, and stage 9, to benefit from having a planner as subconsultant on our submission? Or do you envisage that we would work closely with your own planning team to validate, verify and prepare any planning scheme amendments? Noting that our core skill is in urban design and landscape architecture. Thank you.

Thank you for your query.

The key outcomes of the project require a planning lens / consideration of planning related matters and this is identified in the ‘Scope Requirements’ section of the Part A.2 Consultancy Brief.

In relation to Optional Task B - the proposed deliverable is 'assistance with and appearance at future planning scheme amendment process'. Council’s planning team would manage any future planning scheme amendment process and if required, would separately engage a planning consultant to assist.

Thank you for your query.

The indicative budget for this project is $200,000-$300,000. This does not include any future planning scheme amendment process. Council will consider the respondent’s proposed methodology and evaluate submissions based on best value principles, which involves a weighted assessment against the qualitative and quantitative criteria outlined in the Part A Invitation to Supply.
