I refer to your queries in relation to the Tender.

Please be informed that I successfully downloaded the tender documents through e-tender. There were no problems encountered during the download process. I am unaware of the difficulties you are experiencing in obtaining the tender documents.

It is important to understand that the Tender documents cannot be distributed to individual contractors via email, as the principle of probity in procurement stresses that all potential contractors must have equal access to materials and information throughout the tendering process.

Consequently, you are required to access and download the tender documents through e-tender.

Question:
Hello Procurement,

Please refer to my tender queries below seeking your further clarification:

1. ACM Report stipulates 'Whole Building (No ACM Identified). Please confirm fair for tenderers to assume NO existing ACM identified nor present internally and externally throughout this science building for this project tender?

2. Please clarify or confirm whether all existing building wall & ceiling mounted services to remain undisturbed ie existing mechanical HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, fire (if applicable), AV, & security fixture & fittings to remain in their current position undisturbed?

3. Please further clarify or confirm no works required to any grid ceilings and all existing ceiling & bulkhead fixtures & fittings to remain undisturbed?

4. Please further clarify or confirm whether apparent existing recessed lighting/grilles/skylights or the like to ceiling bulkheads to remain undisturbed?

5. EoW pg10 of 13 Please further clarify 'All tree work to be carried out under tree removal requirements' ie does this infer any trees/branches trimming need to be carried out by an Arborist, or otherwise?

6. EoW pg3 of 13 General Requirements - Building Works Item 3 Provide all structural elements for Operable Walls as required. Please clarify or confirm whether this item 3 is applicable for this Tender?

7. EoW pg3 of 13 Item 4 Please further clarify or confirm specifically what NEW items tenderers are to supply?

8. EoW pg5 of 13 Item12 QBuild specific requirements: Re-punch all raised nail heads to timber flooring. Please further clarify or confirm extent of existing timber flooring present on project?

9. EoW pg11 of 13 Item 2 Please further clarify or confirm Room B01 all interior walls and interior face of all doors to be left untouched?

10. EoW pg11 of 13 Item 4 Please further clarify or confirm that the shelves in all rooms (plural) to be left untouched?

11. EoW pg12 of 13 Item 3 Please further clarify or confirm whether this item 3 is not applicable for this tender?

12. EoW pg12 of 13 Item 11 Please further clarify or confirm A-Class Storage Container sizes required to be stored onsite ie whether 2x 10foot, or 2x 20foot, or 2x 40foot, or combination thereof required? Please also clarify location onsite where these temporary storage containers to be specifically positioned during works?

13. EoW pg3 of 13 Item 7 similarly please further clarify or confirm specific location onsite where the computer monitors are to be temporarily stored during works?

14. With exception of cleaning out gutters where required and replace damaged & rusty gutter, bracket & downpipe only per EoW, please clarify or confirm whether existing science building entire roof area including veranda areas to remain undisturbed ie painting not required, or otherwise?

Hi QBuild RO Procurement,

We seek your further clarification or confirmation please per the following tender queries:

1. Refer EoW pg2of3 - Building Certification & Approval states 'The contractor shall arrange the engagement of the nominated QBCC Licenced Building

Certifier as per attached Certified Drawings and Compliance advise to undertake the final assessment, certification and inspections for the project, based on the project documentation (as provided by QBuild) and cover all associated costs.'

Please further clarify or provide a copy of the actual 'Certified Drawings and Compliance Advice' that may have been received during this project's initial Building Application & Permit phase for the Tenderer's consideration forward.

2. Refer EoW pg3of13 SIE for Major Projects - Allowance to provide signage for the project in accordance with the attached QBuild Construction

Project Signage Requirements (REF713).

Please further clarify specific type and extent of Project Signage/s required on this project for Tenderer's consideration forward.

Question:
Hi QBuild RO Procurement,

Seek your further clarification and confirmation per the following query:

1. Please refer EoW pg 5 of 13 stipulates Item 7 Allow for 150mm high coving for vinyl flooring, 150mm high aluminium skirting for epoxy flooring.

Also refer EoW pg 8 of 13 General requirements - Epoxy Flooring Item 3 Flooring to be coved up walls (approximately 200mm high).

It appears from Tender Documentation photos provided and from Site Inspection held that coved vinyl skirting typically exists to the perimeter of existing epoxy flooring finish throughout where required.

Please clarify and confirm whether Tenderer to allow for the alternative 150mm high aluminium skirting for epoxy flooring specified per Item 7 above, or allow for similar 150mm high coved vinyl skirting type that is 'like for like' to existing, or allow for the Epoxy Flooring finish to be coved up walls 150mm high complete with aris/square top edge finish, or allow for otherwise, typically to perimeter of all epoxy flooring throughout as required?
