Details
Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) requires a suitably experienced and qualified Contractor to carry out roadside tractor slashing services on TMR Road Network throughout the Whitsunday Region.

The Contract will consist of the following eight (8) areas:

a) Area 1 – 5382 Crystalbrook Rd;

b) Area 2 – 8501 Gregory Cannonvalley Rd;

c) Area 3 – 10H Bruce Highway South of Proserpine (O’Connell River to Proserpine);

d) Area 4 – 10J Bruce Highway North of Proserpine (Proserpine to Greta Ck);

e) Area 5 – 10J Bruce Highway South of Bowen (Greta Ck to Drays Rd);

f) Area 6 – 10K Bruce Highway North of Bowen (Bowen to Wangaratta);

g) Area 7 – 88A Bowen Development Rd (Bowen to Bogie);

h) Area 8 – 88A Bowen Development Rd (Bogie to Collinsville).

Council reserves the right to award this contract in whole or in part (per area above).

Question:
The Conditions of Tender identify Drawings as forming part of the Tender Documents. We have not identified any drawings, plans, GIS/mapping files or other supporting road/asset documentation within the documents currently available. Could Council please confirm whether any such documents form part of RFT VP528989 and, if so, please provide these documents to tenderers?

Council confirms that there are no drawings, plans, GIS/mapping files or other supporting road/asset documentation forming part of the RFT. The reference to Drawings in the Conditions of Tender is standard wording and is not applicable to this RFT.

Good afternoon in the response form for this Tender, is a JP signatur or witness signatures required?

Also is it just the response form an pricing form to be filled out and returned.

Please note that the Tender Response Form does not need to be witnessed by a Justice of the Peace (JP). Where a witness is required, this can be any person over the age of 18.

When returning your submission, please provide:

The Tender Response Form;

The Pricing Schedule; and

Any supporting information requested in the Tender Response Form.

in the pricing schedule, is the rate for each area per slashing cycle, or for all 3 cycles to 30 June 2027?

The rates provided in the Pricing Schedule are to be submitted on a per slashing cycle basis. They should not represent the total cost for all three slashing cycles through to 30 June 2027.
