QPS (QGAir) requests quotations for the supply of inflatable lifejacket/vest solutions and associated pouches/accessories to support:

a) Inflatable Water Rescue Vest Sets – RCO (six (6) complete sets)

Inflatable rescue vests suitable for Rescue Crew Officer (RCO) over-water operations and water training, including modular (MOLLE or equivalent) pouch configuration and support arrangements for servicing/inspection and consumables.

b) Inflatable Water Rescue Vest - Passenger Lifejacket (four (4) vests)

Replacement passenger lifejackets to replace unserviceable stock and support ongoing replacement requirements.

Delivery is required to QGAir Archerfield.

QGAir has a preferred configuration to support standardisation across bases and, where practical, alignment with common SAR equipment configurations used across the sector. Suppliers may propose equivalent items that meet the functional intent. Any proposed equivalents must be clearly identified, with a brief explanation of operational differences (if any).

For RCO lifejacket/vest sets, QGAir’s preferred configuration is:

a) 497-PAX-M TRITON Aviation Passenger Vest – MOLLE (or equivalent)

b) 745-P15-2 MOLLE EPIRB Pocket with MALICE clips (or equivalent pouch suitable for the beacon carried by RCOs)

c) 745-P3-2 MOLLE Pockets for Osprey with MALICE clips (or equivalent general-purpose MOLLE pocket)

For passenger lifejacket/vests, QGAir’s preferred configuration is:

d) 497-PAX-M TRITON Aviation Passenger Vest – MOLLE (or equivalent)

Deliverable requirements

The Supplier must deliver goods that are complete and ready for operational use, including:

a) any required re-arming components supplied with the unit (where applicable)

b) all included accessories/pouches (where applicable)

Documentation to be provided

The Supplier must provide the following with the goods (or as part of the quote pack where noted):

a) user instructions for donning/doffing and fitting

b) operating and maintenance instructions

c) servicing/inspection guidance (intervals, inclusions, locations and typical turnaround times)

d) OEM instructions for post-water-use reconditioning and cylinder replacement/re-arming steps

e) warranty details (term, coverage and exclusions)

f) compliance/traceability documentation as required

QPS clarifies the documentation requirements for the inflatable lifejacket/vest supply.

For initial supply, QPS will accept an OEM Certificate of Conformance (CoC) provided it is directly traceable to each unit supplied (i.e., linked to the specific serial number and/or batch/lot number for each individual unit) and is supported by the relevant OEM compliance documentation (e.g., data sheet and approval evidence).

A CASA Form 1 is not mandatory for initial supply.

Where a Supplier can provide CASA Form 1 release (e.g., via inspection by an appropriately approved organisation), Suppliers may offer this as an optional separate line item.

Suppliers should clearly state in their response:

a) what documentation will be provided with supply (CoC and traceability details)

b) if offering CASA Form 1 release, the scope and pricing as a separate line item.

All other RFQ requirements remain unchanged.
