The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Tuckshop Refurbishment at Capella SS, located at 41 Huntley Street, Capella QLD 4723, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.

The works include an extension to the existing building and complete refurbishment of the existing tuckshop. The position of the building is at the side of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by the end of September 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
