Bundaberg Regional Council was formed in 2008 as a result of the merging of Bundaberg City Council, Burnett Shire, Isis Shire and Kolan Shire Councils. Situated at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef and stretching from the Burrum River to Baffle Creek, is comprised of 6,451 sq km and is home to more than 102,000 people, with our population expected to grow to over 141,000 people within twenty-five years.
